2017 Challenge to Educational Citizenship Awards

The Connecticut State Department of Education is now accepting submissions from Connecticut middle and high schools for the statewide Challenge to Educational Citizenship Awards. Any student-organized activity that demonstrates intrinsic kindness is eligible for submission.

The Challenge to Educational Citizenship Award Program, which is the brainchild of the State Student Advisory Council on Education (SSACE), began in 1995-96 as a way to recognize the hard work of students who work tirelessly to improve their local communities. If you have a program or activity in your school that exemplifies civic awareness, cooperation, and boundless potential for community impact, please consider submitting a nomination.
