Open Invitation to CALAS Membership Meeting

IMPORTANT: The CALAS membership meeting, originally scheduled for February 9th, has been moved to February 28th. We would ask any registrants who are unable to make the new date to please email Anna Simeonidis at asimeonidisatcasciacdotorg. New registrations are most welcome!

On February 28, the CT Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents (CALAS) will hold a full membership meeting at the CAS office in Cheshire. Now in its second year, CALAS, the state chapter of the national Association for Latino Administrators and Superintendents (ALAS), was founded by a group of school leaders from New Haven dedicated to expanding resources and opportunities for Hispanic/Latino educators.

The goal of this session is to discuss the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and its implications for English Learners (ELs). All existing members and educators interested in joining are encouraged to attend and should register
in advance.
