March CCSS Session Explores Student Successes in Commissioner’s Network School

Lincoln-Bassett Leadership Team

The second session in the 2017 Connecticut Core State Standards Leadership Community of Practice series, entitled Commissioner’s Network Schools: What we can learn from their successes (Part 1), will be held on March 28, 2017, from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. and will be in the form of an internet seminar (webinar).

The featured presenter will be Janet Brown-Clayton, principal of Lincoln Bassett Community School in New Haven. Principal Brown-Clayton and her leadership team will share how using a growth mindset, having a heart for the work, and working from bell to bell have resulted in a high degree of student success.

The five-session series is offered without charge to school and district leaders, or their designee, and includes continental breakfast. Participants are encouraged to bring additional leadership staff from their school or district.

While there is no charge for this session or any of the remaining 2017 sessions, participants need to register in advance to ensure proper planning for handouts and food.
