CAS Hurricane Relief Effort Winding Down

With the goal of collecting $300,000 – which will be matched dollar for dollar by the Brother’s Brother Foundation (BBF) – CAS has asked each of our members to raise $353 to help schools in areas hit by the recent hurricanes. We are hearing great news every day from Connecticut schools who are participating in the CAS-BBF fundraising initiative! Here are a few updates on our statewide relief effort:

  • In addition to providing aid to schools in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico, we have decided to add the British Virgin Islands and St. Croix to our list as we have many Connecticut residents with family on these islands.
  • The Brother’s Brother Foundation is so pleased with the commitment from Connecticut schools that it is looking to provide matching funds greater than the original $300,000!
  • We have established a bank account! When your school completes fundraising activities, please submit a check payable to “CAS Hurricane Heroes Relief Fund.” Send it to our office at:

Connecticut Association of Schools
30 Realty Drive
Cheshire, CT 06410

Become a CAS Hurricane Hero and add your school’s name to the list below! Be a part of this incredible statewide effort to support our education friends who are in desperate need of financial assistance. The donation deadline is December 15, 2017.
