Now Accepting Nominations for the CAS “Heart of the Arts” Award

In conjunction with the National Federation of State High School Associations(NFHS), CAS is pleased to open nominations for the “Heart of the Arts Award”! This award recognizes individuals or a group of individuals who exemplify the core values of education‐based activities.

Do you know someone who has exhibited extraordinary “heart,” sportsmanship and/or citizenship; has exceeded normal expectations in assisting others within the school or community; or has overcome adversity or a challenging circumstance? If so, please consider submitting a nomination! The nominee could be any student, adult or group associated with your school’s performing arts program. The recipient must have demonstrated exemplary performance, service, and/or achievement in any of the performing arts disciplines, including music, speech, debate, theater and visual arts.

Nominations for the CAS High School “Heart of the Arts” Award will be accepted through January 25, 2019. Submissions must include a nomination form and color photograph of the nominee(s).
