The Connecticut Association of National Honor Societies (CANHS) is the state affiliate of the National Honor Society and the National Junior Honor Society and is housed at the Connecticut Association of Schools in Cheshire, CT. Each year, a student executive board is elected at the spring conference and oversee the CANHS’ work for the following year. Elected positions include: president, vice-president, secretary, social media coordinator at the high school level and a representative from the middle school level. Officers meet 6 times per year, coordinate a statewide service project, plan the annual conference and collaborate
with student leaders from the CAS Student Advisory Board.
