Two hundred eighty-six students representing 143 state high schools were honored for their achievements in the areas of the performing and fine arts at the 24th Annual Connecticut High School Arts Banquet on April 2, 2019. An audience of 1,300 filled the main ballroom of the Aqua Turf in Plantsville and listened to an engaging and humor-filled keynote presentation by Dr. Gina Barreca, noted columnist and author. Caroline Gwara, a student at the Metropolitan Learning Center in Bloomfield, was also honored with the 2019 Heart of the Arts Award. Check out our photo gallery!
