Congressman Courtney Pays a Visit to Hall Memorial

On November 7, Congressman Joe Courtney visited Hall Memorial School in Willington at the invitation of Principal Deborah Sullivan. During the visit, which was planned as part of National Principals’ Month, students taped an interview with Congressman Courtney in their new media production studio. The interview was broadcast on the school’s morning news program the next day. Congressman Courtney also visited some of the 7th and 8th grade classrooms to observe and speak with students about the 1-to-1 iPad initiative started last year. Congressman Courtney’s visit was an honor for the students, staff and community as it was an acknowledgment of the important work schools are doing.
