Middletown High School has a wildly successful video productions department with three levels of TV/film courses as well as a live morning news program & club. Recently, it ranked #1 in the state for its performance on the Connecticut Career & Technical Education Video Production Test. All 23 students who were tested passed, contributing to the school’s number one ranking! The production team is currently preparing to travel to the National Student Television (NST) Convention in Orlando Florida in March. Last year, the team placed first in the NST Hurley Surf Commercial Competition. Check out its winning video.
