The Middle School Student Leadership Conference, Making Acceptance Acceptable, is intended to support middle-level student leaders from the diverse groups in Connecticut middle schools. Since its inception, thousands of students in grades 6, 7, and 8 have been trained in bringing about positive change to their school climate by participating in workshops designed to increase their skills in:
