CSDE Hosts Back-to-School Kick-off at Prince Tech
On August 19, 2015, the Annual Commissioner’s Back to School Meeting was held at Prince Technical High School in Hartford. Connecticut State Department of Education Commissioner Dianna R. Wentzell and Allan Taylor, chairperson of the state board of education, greeted school district superintendents from all across the state. Following an inspiring dance performance by Kinsella Performing Arts Magnet School student Carlos Laboy, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman addressed the state’s superintendents, commending them for all of the progress made in education in Connecticut.
