Five-hundred two debaters — our second highest total ever! — from 42 schools attended our November tournaments at Amity High School, Housatonic Valley Regional High School and New Canaan High School. Thanks to coaches Cara McConnell, John Lizzi and Kristine Goldhawk for their hospitality.

The topic was:

Resolved: The US should approve the Trans-Pacific Partnership treaty.

The final round at Amity was won by the Daniel Hand team of Sam Thorpe and Tony Xu over the Joel Barlow team of Cara Krupnikoff-Salkin and Melani Zuckerman

The final round at Housatonic Valley was won by the Simsbury team of Lila Rosenzweig and Pritika Seshadri over the Hartford Classical team of Shamar Mahon and TJ Noel-Sullivan.

The final round at New Canaan was won by the Greenwich team of Alexis Tatore and Alexandra Maloney over the AITE team of Tanusri Balla and Brian Fleischer.
